Friday

Today, actually yesterday since I'm writing this at 1:43 am on Saturday morning, was a laid back day. We only had half day of school work, a wonderful relief after a week of 8:30-8:00 in the classroom. Our lecture in the morning was about the relationship of education and education philosophy to journalism. To be honest, it was a bit over my head.

After class I finished up my research on an article about the empire state building that I'm working on. I started writing it but got bored really quickly, so since my roommates were sleep, I didn't know where the other girls were and really didn't feel like wandering around in the rain (sadly on our day "off" it drizzled ALL day long) by myself, I went and hung out in one of the guys' apartments and chatted with one of the guys, Ryan, that I hit it off easily with.

We (a group of us) went to an outdoor burger place for supper (remember it was raining…so it was kinda wet). It's in Madison Square Park (10 blocks down Broadway from us). We walked there but took the subway back.

After hanging out in the other guys apartment, we decided to go to see Prince Caspian. While we were waiting to go to the 10:20 viewing, we all sat around and worked on assignments.

The movie was GREAT! I definitely need to read all the Chronicles of Narnia books when I get a chance. Now its really late and I think I'll go to bed. My roommates are already asleep…lucky people J. Well at least I'll a half hour extra sleep tomorrow morning…class doesn't start until 9:00.
