Life Continues in the City

Today at least I slept in until almost 8. Had Starbucks for breakfast. My usual has become a tall Chai Latte. Class was really enjoyable today. Bill Mattox of the USA Today's editorial board was the teacher today and he basically asked us things that we want to know about journalism and we talk them through. I was a little zoned out at times, but definitely learned a lot of interesting and useful things about journalism. At times, I definitely feel out of my element…I'm surrounded by people who have worked for school newspapers, have these amazing ideas and thoughts and views on life and I honestly feel just a little behind and a little out of step. Hopefully I can overcome that or maybe just use it to my advantage.

Well I'm kind of sleepy and not writing very coherently so I'm going to sign off. Hopefully I'll get to do some fun things tonight.
